About Us
Doak Elementary School, led at the helm by Principal Sunshine Broyles and Assistant Principal Johnna Miller, serves PreK through Fifth grade as one of the largest elementary schools in Greene County. It is nestled up against the historic Tusculum University.
Our main focus is providing a safe and encouraging environment for students to excel in rigorous academia taught by the best teachers in Greene County.
Another focus of the school is character building and encouraging student leadership through our House system. This includes the students being sorted into one of six houses that represent different qualities and characteristics that we wish to instill in our students. They have monthly meetings led by the students and complete community projects.
We are grateful for our Partners in Education and our community members that continuously show love and support to our students, teachers, and staff.
